Description

The eyes, ears and rainbows of the world will be on London in 2012 as they host WorldPride. Cities around the world host Pride events, but this is the biggest, loudest, craziest...you get the point. Similar to other Pride celebrations, WorldPride promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues on an international level through parades, festivals and other cultural activities. The year 2012 is a big one for London seeing as how WorldPride will kick off just prior to the Olympics coming to town. The festival will be huge, with an expected audience of over one million visitors.
