Description

The far south of Chile's Patagonia region drops below a frosty zero in July and the small town of Punta Arenas prepares for its annual Winter Carnival. Snow covers everything and people come from around the region to join in the festivities. Music, dance and fancy dress are all part of the street party... but most important is the sharing of food and hot chocolate to keep warm! Astoundingly the women are barely dressed, but you'll want to cover up warm for this festival!
