“The Great Migration” takes place between Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and Kenya's Masai Mara and is considered one of the best wildlife exhibitions on the planet. Every year, thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara in search of fresh grazing pastures. The massive herds are not alone however and are closely followed by predators such as lions, hyenas and cheetahs, all of which make the most of every opportunity to catch their next meal. The wildebeests' migration can start any time in May or June depending on the rains, but usually the best times to see the migrations are between June and August.
