The Wayne Chicken Festival, held in Wayne, Nebraska has become a yearly tradition in this town to celebrate... the chicken (what else?!). Chickens have a lot of potential. They are familiar to everyone, they make great art subjects, and most of all, they don't mind being the butt of the joke. Come on down to the festival and participate in the largest recorded chicken dance in the country, view some chicken themed art, or even eat some chicken themed food. This event's one and only purpose is entertainment and that is exactly what you'll find.
