Description
This is by far the closest any festival can come to being a heavy metal fan’s paradise. No wonder it is one of the leading summer open air Heavy Metal festivals. The rate of attendance is massive: 70,000 people. Black metal, death metal, power metal, thrash metal and folk metal fans come together in a small town known as Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein where over 70 bands from Europe, North America and Australia perform on four stages over the course of three days. Fans will have the opportunity to camp out for those three days so they can remain close to the life of the huge Heavy Metal festival.
