Description

With a history dating all the way back to 1818, Topsfield boasts the oldest agricultural fair in the US. It's grown to a much bigger event today than its humble beginnings as a cattle show, incorporating big musical performances and all sorts of demonstrations and activities into the traditional agricultural shows. Regular events include the pig race, sand sculpture exhibitions by renowned sculptor Justin Gordon, antique farm tractor pulling and, of course, the giant pumpkin contest.
