There's just too many sights to see in Paris, luckily the authorities have cleared all the streets so that you can run round the city centre as fast as your little legs will carry you. The catch is that you have to run a pretty long way along, with more than 20000 runners at the Paris Half Marathon. Since its beginnings in 1992, the race has sent runners from the Arc de Triomphe, down the famous Champs Elysées and along the banks of the Seine. If you're not up for running, then you can cheer those more fit than yourself and watch some of the live musical performances on offer.
