Description

A truly spectacular celebration of the arts, this event covers multiple genres and offers an intriguing spectrum of great artists, performers and even scientists. Throughout the three weeks of festivities, the organizers bring in excellent world renowned artists to perform alongside ones from New Zealand. Imagine excellent dance performers like the ones from the UK based Sadler's Wells group combined with New Riga Theatre and Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. On top of it place Frisky and Mannish and Calexico music and add talks by Sarah Waters and Richard Dawkins. All this, and much more, can be seen, heard and experienced at The New Zealand International Arts Festival.
