Always wanted to visit Thailand but never had the time or the money to actually do it? Never fear, because the Thai Grand Festival is bringing a taste of the 'land of smiles' directly to Holland. This summer, Beursplein near the Central Station in Amsterdam will be transformed into a mini-Bangkok, as the Thailand Grand Festival comes to town. Displaying the best that Thai culture has to offer, from dance, to food to Thai arts and crafts, not to mention some very lovely Thai locals, the festival will whisk you away to a tropical land before you can say 'Sawatdee Ka'!
