Description

For three days a year, Syracuse goes Polish. Clinton Square shakes to the rhythm of polka while visitors enjoy in the festival that, according to organizers, strives to “promote Polish culture, heritage, history and traditions”. Moreover, this fun event has a noble goal, to collect funds for stipends for local students of Polish origin. Alongside the great food & drinks on offer and the entertaining competitions for “Miss Polonia” and “Pole of the Year”, this festival brings interesting musicians and orchestras to the town. In the previous years, the festival hosted artists like Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra, Stan Borys, LynnMarie and The John Góra Band.
