Description

The agricultural village of Mgarr is renowned for the quality and unique taste of its strawberries. Throughout the festival a constant supply of freshly picked strawberries are sold to hungry visitors along with strawberry related products such as chocolate gateaux and cakes, right to smoothies, milk-shakes, ice-cream waffles, pancakes, strawberry jams, even strawberry wine. Popular Maltese folk groups play traditional Maltese tunes with typical folk Maltese instruments.
