If you are interested in the innovative and “non-mainstream” works in the contemporary world cinema, then you are welcome to the Sofia International Film Festival (IFF), which is taking place in the capital of Bulgaria. It has been created with an aim to promote local and regional (Bulgarian and Balkan) cinema and to inspire local and international filmmakers to cooperate and to communicate their visions and ideas to the general public. At the festival you can watch the works of the young directors from different countries who are searching for new ways of conveying their visions and perspectives.
