Description

Belize is unique in Central America as the only country where English is the majority language, and every year on September 10th they celebrate their special status with a holiday to commemorate the defeat of the Spanish at the Battle of St. George’s Caye. September is also the date of Belize’s Independence Day celebrations, so the parties stretch on for weeks – making this the best time to come and visit. There will be carnivals, parades, fireworks and more than enough else to keep anybody busy all over the country.
