Give a merry ho-ho-ho of support to all of the jolly souls competing in the annual Santa Claus World Championship in Switzerland. This is truly a sight to behold. Flocks of 32 teams of cherry-cheeked ol' Saint Nicks show off their gentle spirit while attempting to not trip over their long white beards while competing in a series of Santa-approved events. Expect some spirited porridge eating, energetic reindeer and sled racing, and a stint of chimney climbing that will have most of us on the edge of our seats. Santa Claus wannabes can present their individuality during the talent show, then meet little ones in a sit down later. In addition to winning the right to make children giggle with glee, the Santa contenders are also up for receiving cash prizes. When it comes to the stress of the winter holidays, there's nothing merrier than a friendly Santa Claus competition.
