This week-long celebration of new European and international independent films, offers the chance for young filmmakers to present their work to the general public at numerous film screenings. Rome Independent Film Festival is a festival that is passionate about independent cinema, thus it also includes retrospectives, seminars and workshops on various aspects of cinema to compliment the main award-giving event, which began in 2000.
