The Raindance Film Festival was founded in 1992 by Elliot Grove, a respected film-producer who wanted to support and celebrate independent film making. The festival is not just for professionals trying to spot the next indie blockbuster, rather it has opened up to the anyone looking to catch intriguing premiers and quirky films. It takes place annually in London’s West End and it is greatly influenced by music, therefore the program features a diverse mix of innovative film and music collaborations. Raindance Film Festival has premiered many famous films, including Pulp Fiction, The Blair Witch Project, Capturing the Friedmans, Memento, Oldboy, Steve Balderson's Firecracker, and Girlfriend in a Kimono.
