Description

The Traditional Procession of the Three Giants takes place every year on the last Thursday of August. The three dancing Giants of the Guilds, Indiaan, Mars and Goliath, play the leading part and are accompanied by over 1000 costumed participants. It is a magnificent parade with unique floats, a lot of music and dance, choreography and folklore. The event ends with a spectacular musical fireworks show. Since 2005, the three Giants and the Procession feature on the UNESCO Word Heritage List.
