Description

This hill is one of the oldest and most well-known pilgrimage places in Slovakia. The pilgrimage has been held here annually on the first Sunday in July since the times when the members of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, spreading Marian reverence, consecrated the chapel at the hill as a tribute to the visiting of Virgin Mary at the end of the 14th century
