Are you up for a cycling classic? Laugh at the easy-going of the Tour de France, smirk at softness of the the Spanish Vuelta because this is the "The Hell Of The North" - aka the Paris-Roubaix. This “Sunday in Hell” is a fast, gruesome and thrilling cycling-experience, famed for its rough terrain and flagstone covered roads. Ever since the events inception back in 1896, spectators have been treated to jaw-dropping displays of raw pedal power. Those who's legs aren't ready to face a day in hell need not despair, as there's the wonderful terraces and tavernas of the northern French city of Roubaix from which to watch the race's finale.
