Description

The town that had an important role during the war against Spain during the 17th century has once again made a name for itself. The northwestern city Paredes de Coura has become a big name in the top out-door concerts in the international circuit. The four-day music festival has seen the likes of the Sex Pistols, The Wombats, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Mando Diao, Stone Temple Pilots and Korn. Big names mean big crazy. So keep in mind that when the moshing gets old, there are more relaxed exhibitions and even smooth jazz to placate over stimulated festivalgoers.
