Description

Abandon modern civilization and join the New York Renaissance Faire, a weekend-long fantasy event showcasing jugglers, jesters, mounted knights on charging horses, magicians, and much more. Held in the beautiful Sterling Forest in Orange County, the faire features live performances on twenty stages, character actors wandering around the wooden houses of the settlement, marketplace where artisans offer their crafts for sale, demonstrations in age-old crafting traditions, such as glassblowing, blacksmithing, and other fun activities which will have you cursing your luck for not being born in 16th century England. At the faire, you can savor scrumptious turkey legs, succulent steaks, or sausages, and quench your thirst with fine ales, sweet meads or local wines. Don’t be afraid to bring your kids along, as they’ll certainly be in safe hands amongst all the peculiar medieval creatures.
