Mark the New Year in a peaceful and passionate fashion. New Year's Day Mass was first introduced by Pope Paul VI and is used to celebrate the World Day of Peace. Ever since it began in the 60's the different popes have called on humankind to be loving and peaceful towards one another no matter their skin colour, gender or belief. In recent years it's also been an occasion for reflecting about how we need to live a peaceful coexistence with our planet.
