Are you a member of the polar bear club? Or is your New Year's resolution to do more insane activities? Then the New Year Dive in Ostend, Belgium is especially for you! Annually thousands of polar bears filled with polar beer and spirits are "invited" to this special event where they dive into the ice-cold water of the North Sea. If you’re not so adventuresome, you can still have a look at it from the beach. Plenty of hot drinks are provided to keep you warm along with bands that will make you want to dance for warmth if nothing else. The atmosphere is as fun as the air is crisp.
