Description

Over 500 amateur actors take part in this traditional religious play, which seeks to recreate the passion felt by those who witnessed Jesus Christ's crucifixion. This play has been performed since 1481 and is based on the story that during the crucifixion, several people were injured when the crowd, angry about what they saw, attacked the stage with sticks. You can see this play every Sunday during Lent.
