Description

The Musica Festival, taking place each September in the wonderful city of Strasbourg, is France’s most notorious international celebration of contemporary music. Since its creation in 1983, the festival has constantly taken its large audiences through the latest trends and various styles in 20th century music as well as theatre. The concerts are heavily subsidized by the local authorities, so you can expect a great bargain when purchasing a weekly ticket. Finally, during the concert breaks, do not forget to check out the picturesque city of Strasbourg with its wonderful canals, its great mixture of modern and old style architecture, and its superb location by the Vosges Mountains.
