If you don't mind getting your hands dirty then the annual Mud Olympics on the River Elbe might be for you! Organise a team in advance and contact the organisers to register and you could be involved in several slippery sports such as skiing, wrestling and football. Prizes go to the winners as well as the best fans, best team names and the funniest costumes. The Mud Olympics may be equally funny to watch, but this is one event you may only get to try once! There are many places to stay in the region, however, campgrounds are also available - just pray the campground has a shower!
