Description

Much has changed in Europe since the days of Mozart, but the elegance and emotion of his notes continue to transcend time and impact all within earshot of this classical master. The Mozart Society celebrates his work each year at the Lausanne Mozart Festival in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The festival commemorates when the composer had a prolonged stay in the city in 1766. Additionally, classical music connoisseurs will appreciate the conferences and related events staged across the city throughout the five-day festival.
