Want to go back in time to the Middle Ages? Live amongst sewage and disease, before dying at the age of 35? Well at the Montopoli Archery Contest, in the historic city of Pisa, you can do just that. There will be re-enactments from this time period, such as the wonderful medieval market but the most important aspect of this event is the archery contest. Pull on that 11th century dress you've been saving for such a special occasion and participate in the festivities.
