Your wristband-clad arm is glowing in the dark as it waves to the groove of some of the best reggae you've heard in a long time, and as the massive amounts of sweating, screaming bodies rub tight in the blue-light filled auditorium. Then you realize you are screaming, too. And you're having the time of your life. You’re at Metropop Festival, a three-day music extravaganza. The festival, which is a contraction of pop and Métropole, the name of the main venue in the city center of Lausanne, in French-speaking Switzerland, is one of the world's top autumn festivals. Previous performers have included Le Peuple de l’Herbe, Wax Tailor, Happy Mondays, Tiken Jah Fakoly and The Abyssinians. Make sure you aren't in sleep debt beforehand, with nine live concerts in one long weekend followed by Metropop DJ after parties across the city, day becomes night becomes day again
