Description

Since its commencement in 1951, MIFF has grown to be the continent’s biggest film festival as well as one of Australia’s most significant public events. Besides being the world’s largest showcase of Australian cinema, the festival screens over 400 films from 50 different countries, featuring a colorful range of styles, directors, and genres. You’ll feel that the whole vibrant city of Melbourne emanates joviality during the festival, in large part due to numerous parties, special events, and ambassadors of the festival such as Geoffrey Rush and Eric Bana.
