Description

Founded in 2000, The ‘Reading Art’ Festival has since become a reputable and yet unorthodox meeting place for renowned authors, up-and-coming literary talents, and book devotees. 7 different locations in Dortmund host around 16 events, including literature-rap concerts and poetry jams. Past participants include Amal al-Jubouri, Ilhan Atasoy, Andreas Neumeister, Désirée Nick, Charlotte Brandi, Volker Braun, Barbara Köhler, Urzula Koziol as well as the winners of the famous Adelbert von Chamisso Prize, awarded annually for the best non-German authors writing in German.
