For two days in June, the Czech city of Kutna Hora comes to life to celebrate its Gothic roots. Commemorating the proud Gothic tradition of this royal mining town, the Kutná Hora Royal Silvering festival boasts a range of delightfully historic activities, from sword-fighting and dance to a historic market where you can pick up your favourite Gothic-style artefacts, and even nightly knight tournaments where men dressed in their finest knightly armour battle it out for glory and honour!
