International Hahnenkamm Race

The world’s best skiers will gather in Kitzbühel to challenge one of the world’s most difficult ski piste. Jumps up to 80m, 85% decline slopes, and speeds up to 140 km/h is what racers can expect. In less than 2 minutes they complete a stretch of 3.3 km with an altitude difference of 863 m from the starting point (1665m) to the finish (802m). The Hahnenkamm race has been taking place on the Kitzbühels landmark mountain since 1931 and parts of the course like the Streif descent, the Combination and the Ganslernhang slalom are noe (in)famous.
