Looking for something wacky? How about the Honolulu International Bed Race Festival? Every April sees hundreds of keiki (kids) push four-wheeled beds down the streets of Honolulu, as they are battling for the oh-so-prestigious title of ‘Fastest Bed of the Year’. Aiming to raise money for various local charities, the hilariously quirky race runs from Fort DeRussy to Kapiolani Park. There’s also a colorful parade featuring decorated beds, live entertainment and food vendors to fill the tummies.
