Are you ready for the ultimate local cultural French carnival experience? The lovely village of Guewenheim situated in the forestry region of Alsace welcomes you to a carnival time that you will never forget. More than 250 knights will be marching in front of a sea of colourful masks and traditional dresses. Alongside the grand parades, children will enjoy a fairytale atmosphere with cartoon and historical characters marching side-by-side. Various local culinary products may be tasted while the local white Alsatian wine will enlighten your spirit for a wonderful relaxed and fun weekend!
