Description

Since its inception in 1992, Fumetto has built up a devoted following of comic lovers. Unlike other comic-related events, Fumetto is explicitly devoted to the art of comics and has no commercial trade fair attached. The organisers take an avant-garde approach, focusing on various forms of art such as comic, installation, theatre, painting, performance, installation, graphic arts, street-art and animation. The focus on the cultural side of comics attracts a high quality of work, including that to be found among the 1000+ entries to the International Comix Competition.
