Description

In the years leading up to 1812 this was a place of ferocious war, nowadays it is a place of friendship. The border between US and Canada, close to Fort Erie, is not a spot for barbedwire or minefields, but a location where, once a year, the Friendship Festival takes place. The event merges Fort Erie on the Canadian side and Buffalo on the US side into a single, friendly festival venue. If one wishes to go from one side of the event to another, s/he has to cross a bridge that bears a strong symbolic name - Peace Bridge. The friendship between Canada and US is fortified with rock concerts, loads of food & drinks and plenty of fun events. In the previous years they had musicians like Hedley, The Johnstones, Street Pharmacy and Five Man Electrical Band. This is a place both to bring friends and make new ones.
