Description

Are you the sort of person who freezes up when standing atop a half-pipe with thousands egging you on to do something even more stupidly daring than the girl who went before you? If yes, then you're probably not a performer at this year's Freeze, a snow sports and music festival in London, nestled in the shadow of Battersea Power Station. Since it began in 2008, Freeze has welcomed the world’s very best skiers and snowboarders. They compete on the specially erected 32m high, 100m long real snow ramp. In the past Olympic medallists Danny Kass, Peetu Piiroinen, Scotty Lago have battled it out on the ramps, whilst the likes of Cypress Hill have taken to the stage.
