Description

The International Festival Lent is the peak of summer life in Maribor. The festival offers a good mix of local and internationally renowned classical, jazz, pop, and world music concerts and performers. Other art forms are also plentiful, including theatrical and dance performances, drama performances, puppet shows, sports events, and creative workshops for the children. The quiet Summer atmosphere in Maribor is seductive. Events take place throughout the city, but the City Park is a good place to start. Much of the fun in store Festival Lent is free, but ticketed concerts and performances tend to sell out quickly so don't delay.
