Don’t be misled by the event’s regional-sounding name: performers arrive from all over the globe to grace the stage at the annual Electronic Music Midwest festival. One of the largest collegiate new electroacoustic music festivals in the United States, EMM aims to provide a platform for composers to strut their stuff and to interact with each other and their audiences. The concerts are usually one hour long to allow time for mingling and questions. The location of the festival moves between participating colleges each year.
