Party animals are in for a treat at New York’s Electric Zoo, a fresh electronic-music megafest, set to take over Randall’s Island again during Labour Day weekend. Begun in 2009, the event boasts such a star-studded, eclectic lineup that it would make even some long-standing European electronic music festivals blush – no wonder it sold out with 25,000 people attending each day in the first two years. Past performers have included the likes of Moby, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, The Chemical Brothers, Bassnectar, John Digweed and Hot Chip.
