Welcome to one of the most unique and extravagant carnivals in the world in the lovely coastal city of Dunkerque. You will have an unique opportunity to witness fisherman's bands confront each other with old songs and sarabands, livening up the whole town. Celebrations of sailors, of the literary character Jean Bart, and of the living fish in the sea add to the exotic element of this unique event.
