Summer at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point kicks off with a bang, as the Doheny Blues Festival takes over one of California’s most popular camping grounds. The two-day blues festival, spread over three stages, has gathered such crowd-pullers over the years as Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Brian Setzer, The Derek Trucks Band, Los Lobos and B.B. King. All this, plus arts and crafts vendors, a wine lounge and an international food court offering local favorites and hard-to-find ethnic fare alike.
