Even in a city where fabulous live entertainment is part of the DNA, the annual love affair with jazz in all its forms is something truly special. Yes, the magical City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival, is back again with another fantastic line-up this year. The Derry air will once again be crackling with a vast and deliciously diverse line-up covering every facet of jazz from giant names like ex-Rolling Stone Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings through the psychedelic beat of Europe’s break-out act of the year, Aeroplane, to the joyful sounds of Dixieland and trad veterans the Bourbon Swing Jazz Band.
