The Swiss have an abundance of reindeer and a lack of light at winter. They've become experts at dealing with both. Thus, at this wonderful Christmas Market you can enjoy the long nights on beautifully lit cobblestone squares, whilst eating reindeer sausages. Or if that's not your cup of tea then have a cup of glögg (mulled wine) and peruse the range of Swedish handicrafts and decorative arts that are of such high-quality workmanship that, when you get home, you'll set fire to your local IKEA.
