CAMRA Plymouth Beer Festival
From: 2013.07.13 To: 2013.07.14
As any dedicated real ale drinker will tell you (often without being asked) beers festivals are the best invention since ... beer! For the uninitiated, they are an opportunity to try a wide range of ales in a convivial setting. Many beer festivals also provide a number of ciders - Plymouth Beer Festival carries over 35- and some include other locally produced beverages such as ginger beers and fruit wines. The Festival is organised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), which hosts a series of beer festivals throughout Britain. CAMRA festivals feature casks of ale from British brewers tapped and ready for tasting using cash or a token system. Take your taste buds on a beer journey across Britain, but we suggest starting with the half-pint glasses if you hope to complete your journey while still standing on two feet. In addition to the beer buffet, most CAMRA events feature traditional pub games, live music, and tasty pub food.
