Description

The 1992 Olympic Games placed Barcelona in the spotlight of the sports world. The Barcelona Half Marathon pales in comparison to the Olympic spotlight, but it is still a good reason to visit Barcelona during a sporting event. The course is flat and takes in many of the sights of the City. It starts from near Barcelonetta, heading up towards 'Plaza Espana', and then back down the wide boulevard before the final 3KM along the seafront, with the finish by the 'Arc de Triomf'. Come and locate yourself at a nice street café to watch the start of the race, and see the runners pass at the 7 mile mark. Or better yet, find yourself a nice sport on the starting line.
