As Europe's largest contemporary art fair, ARCO takes over Madrid each year and turns the capital of Spain into the capital of art. Attracting over 200,000 visitors each year, ARCO is a whirlwind of artistic fervour, showcasing all that is new inspiring, shocking and mind-blowing-crazy-weird-nutty-mad the art world. Around 200 contemporary art galleries take part in the ARCO festival, making it the place to be for the latest in contemporary art, just as it has been every year since 1981.
