Heritage and traditions are very important in Italy, which is why every year the town of Santa Lucia di Piave hosts a fair that began in the year 1300. The Antique Fair of Santa Lucia (Antica Fiera di Santa Lucia) began as a way to introduce textiles, spices, and livestock from the East to the West. The organisers of the modern-day fair wanted to bring the medieval charm back to this town and, after lengthy research, recreated the event to the letter.
